Shannon Murphy was born and raised in Zimbabwe. Having studied Visual Art in Brisbane, she currently lives on the Sunshine Coast of Australia as a full-time artist, running a business called Nurture Creative Nature, which facilitates artistic practices in person and online. Shannon uses various media such as drawing tools, paint, cameras, clay, metal and found objects throughout her work. She has experience in commissioned work, exhibiting, project coordinating, curating, teaching, performing, puppeteering, illustrating, murals, set design, and leading social art initiatives. She also has experience in singing performance.
