Got a young one in your life who has most of your attention? Looking for a creative outlet and some community connections that nourish you and hold space for your little one?

Mums and babes

Intimate group art classes for up to five adults and their children*.

PRIVATE GROUP SESSIONS AVAILABLE

Includes materials for the class.**

These relaxed art sessions are an opportunity for mums to get their hands dirty, connect with other women and their babes and still be present and attentive to their little ones' needs. Held in an outdoor, open-air environment, there is space for everyone to move around whilst enjoying the tranquility of natural sounds and garden views.

We will explore new artistic mediums over the months. In the upcoming classes, we will be working on sculpting clay, exploring various hand-building techniques.

Please bring toys and snacks for your loved one, as well as sunscreen and insect repellent for you both. Recommend both wearing clothes that you don't mind getting clay on and are suitable for outdoor weather.

*Most suitable age for children are between 6 months and 16 months. Please bring a high chair or pram so we can all sit together around the table, or a mat for the floor if they are not able to crawl away. This is not a babysitting service. Guardians will be responsible for their children's well-being at all times.

**Materials included are clay and tools for the session. This fee does not include the cost of getting finished clay artwork fired or glazed, as the facilities for these are external. Shannon will recommend options and can organise the firing of finished pieces if you wish. Glazing clay works can be done at other recommended pottery spaces with the required facilities. Feel free to ask Shan if you need any more information.

Perhaps a group of special ladies you'd like to host for a regular or special play with clay gathering?

Maybe a baby-shower activity for mums and kids to get their hands in the dirt!

Palmwoods, Sunshine Coast (address given with booking).

"Love Shannon and her art, plus she's a great teacher."
